New China King

You know you're in the right place when you haven't came by to eat in a long time and the sweet lady behind the counter says "long time, sesame chicken combo, 1 extra egg roll?" Best Chinese food and staff in Myrtle Beach. Tucked away on the end of the Food Lion Shopping Center, I've never had bad food from here. I'll drive by 3 or 4 other places that were much closer just to eat here.

This place was extremely busy when I came to place my order. There were only two people working. My shrimp rolls were dripping with grease and over cooked. I tried to eat one shrimp roll but had to throw it out because it was horrible. My order took over 30 minutes and it wasn’t worth the wait. I also ordered General Tso Chicken and wings for my son. He said the wings were good… my GTC was just ok. I also noticed how the woman who worked there treated everyone. When everyone’s order was ready, she repeated back the order and said thank you come again with a smile. When my order was ready. She just placed it on the counter and said here’s your order. She didn’t confirm it like she did with everybody else. she did that with everyone else except me and they were about six people. I will not be coming back here to eat.

Wait for long time just for 2 dishes, and I did ask if the food spicy and they told me can cook with no spicy for kids, but when we got hotel and tried it,it was VERY VERY spicy!! We are from williamsburg, virginia, and there is a chinese restaurant called Golden Chinese, the staff are amazing, and the food is good as well. We never need to wait for more than 15 minutes!BTY they do have lots of orders too!

Best Chinese food we've had! Our other spot was taken over by New owners and we've been trying to find a new Chinese restaurant that caters to our picky tastes haha. This place is always accommodating, food is always fresh and everything is ALWAYS TASTY!!! And the people working here are always so pleasant!!

Definitely our favorite and probably only Chinese place we'll eat. We've tried almost all the other places, as well.

Pretty good and the best of the locally owned Chinese take-out within 10miles of me in south Myrtle. My favorite dish is the Kung Pao Shrimp combo dinner special. Had six plump shrimp. They actually add some diced cucumber to the stir-fry which many local recipes leave out, which is delicious. Not as spicy hot as original recipe but one can ask them for more POW in the Kung Pao! Dining area gets a little warm in the summer so opt for take-out if you prefer dining in cool AC. Highly recommend this place. Lady at the front is very nice & charming.

Food was good & fresh. I would go back & recommend it to others. I had to wait but it was worth it for fresh food.

I would give zero stars if I could. I ordered online for myself and my family, but when I got there 20 minutes later (as instructed online), my order wasn't even started. I waited another 20 minutes for them to prepare it. When I got back to our hotel, the food was not good. The fried rice was completely tasteless. I had to basically drown it in soy sauce for any kind of flavor. Ended up, throwing away all the leftovers. Do not recommend New China King.
