Hi Hazelview,
My lease was at 1577 Lawrence Ave W. in Unit 825 with Hazelview Properties. Once I finished my lease, the property manager, Kanwar Jaireth, inspected my apartment and once the inspection was completed, I returned the keys and fobs .i was told I would receive my security deposit of $80 within 10 days. It has now been 3 months and I still have not received my deposit. I have visited the office in-person and spoke to Kanwar Jaireth, the property manager, and he mentioned I would receive the funds asap and I still have not received it. I am certain the previous property manager, Tiffany Vasquez, would have supported me and ensured I received the funds immediately, instead the current manager cuts me off when I’m speaking and doesn’t provide proper customer service. This experience has been frustrating. Pls I need my money.

Pamela Cushman who is the Regional Manager of Operations for the Golden Horseshoe Region deserves this 5-stars most of all! She consistently and without question goes above and beyond for tenants. She is amazing!
If I can give Hazelview less than 1 star I would, the worst company ever especially for minorities. I stayed at one of their now building 1577 Lawrence in Toronto for over 10years. I never paid late as a matter of fact I paid them double after I came out of coma from Covid19 in 2020. They didn't even want to reimburse me. I lost the month rent.
Now I recently made an application to stay at their building 6030 Bathurst (online application with photo humm) I was upfront and honest I made decent money as a nurse. But for no reason I got denied. Come to find out another non-Black person has been approved from a reliable source. Keep in mind Hazelview own lots of building in the GTA and Canada what does that tell you Black people? The government of Canada should be ashamed to give power to this type of corporation. By having your picture, they control who they want in their building. This is the new Canada.

The is property management company doesn't really care about their tenants. The swimming pool have been closed throughout summer due to their lackadaisical management. However, when it comes to increasing the rents, they are at the forefront.
Had a viewing @ Mintz River and the leasing consultant Alicia is a great and wonderful. Explained everything thoroughly and was not rushing. Highly recommended!
Suzie is great very good property manager, she’s made my time living at a Hazelview Property great. Natalia however has been the most unpleasant person to talk, the lack of professionalism in her communication really sours the image I had of this company. Disappointed that this is how my time living at Hazelview properties finishes.
Planning on moving into the King Edward apartment building in the next couple of weeks. The staff (Alicia & Lori) have been very helpful and welcoming. The people in the front lobby have been delightful to chat with. Looking forward to joining the family.
