The Populist Galataport

Perfect view at the sea and has a great atmosphere. Perfect place for at date.
Food was really great and Lotz of different beer and drinks to choose from.

We always take our guests from Denmark to this place. No one were ever disappointed. Also good beer. The location is fantastic.

The Populist is a great place to go for a delicious meal with friends or family. The food is excellent, and the sharing plates are a great way to try a variety of dishes. The environment is also very nice, with a large terrace overlooking the waterfront.

The service was good, but the waiter's reaction to our tip was a bit surprising. We gave him a small amount of change as a tip, and he refused it, saying that the restaurant does not accept tips. He was even a bit upset, and told us to take the money back.

We were a bit taken aback by the waiter's reaction, but we didn't let it ruin our overall experience. The food was still delicious, and the environment was still lovely. We would definitely recommend The Populist to others, but we would advise them to be aware of the restaurant's policy on tipping.

Let me start by saying that we were lucky with the service, the waiters were really nice. The food was amazing!! We tried different things my favorite was the beetroot and feta salad followed by the mushroom pizza
The only downfall was how busy and loud the place is (understandably because it’s bayram) and also because of the cruise ship the view was blocked which is such a shame :(
Their earl grey tea was one of the best and overall value for price was good.

I would come back! The friend chicken was awesome, as well as the beetroot and feta cheese salad. We also tried different beers. Prices were reasonable for this place. Really beautiful surroundings seating near the port line

Great place right by the cruise port. We dined on The upper balcony. Great place for people watching. Large selection of craft beer. Fries were delicious.

We went Friday night, with no booking. The place was full, obviously. We were offered waiting table, which we loved and preferred for our whole stay.
All went great!! First - service. Really professional, friendly, attentive and quick.
Beers are pricey, but very good! I liked the choice and quality. Food is very good too!
But the most attractive of all - vibe! Music is great, makes you wanna stay and enjoy-enjoy-enjoy!!
I will come back for sure! Recommend to all!!
