Hunan Taste Restaurant

This is my new to go place. They have AMAZING Chinese food and I notice the new wall paper. The place looks GREAT. Give a try, you will not regret it. BEST Chinese food in Springfield.

This was our go to Chinese restaurant when we lived in the area many years ago.
We ate here frequently and knew the owner. So we were back in the area after many years and had to check it out. Didn't know or recognize anyone but food was still great. We had the orange beef, one of our old favs and it was still the best. You could cut it with a fork. We had very good appetizers also.
Many years ago, Billy fixed super Zombies, but the current restaurant only has beer, no hard stuff. Don't let this stop you from getting some great food here.

Don't order from this place it's trash. Called in order for pickup. Arrive there. The lady said they didn't get order and I called wrong number. I dialed number in front of her and she argue oh we may have been busy didn't get order. If you take order on phone make sure it's being made and ready for pickup.
Instead of offering some discount or appologize, she just argue. They value the dollar more than customer satisfaction.

This is by far the best orange chicken and lo mein me and my wife have ever had. The noodles were amazing and we had no leftovers because it was so good I couldn’t save any for last. Definitely recommend if you have been on the fence with easy to go food or dine in. Very friendly phone service and was super delicious. Also tried the spring rolls and very happy with my order. Great spot and great taste too.

This was a go-to place for us to both eat in and take out. It was very good until recently. We're guessing it's under new owners and/or managers. At first, we noticed a bit less sauce that was also saltier. Our takeout order last evening is much worse. The beef in the triple delight is very chewy/fibrous. The shrimp are overcooked and rubbery. The veggies are harder. Very salty. The moo shu pork is a little better but not half the flavor it used to have. The pkum sauce is blander. We tried to oder, and pay for, extra llum sauce but not able to. This is probably our last meal. How sad.

- sweet and sour chicken was really good. Everything was fresh and had nice flavor.

- prices are normal for the area.

- have plenty of parking.

- overall a good first experience at this location.

Excellent food and service. Affordable prices. If you come before 3 PM, you will get the lunch price. After 3, dinner price which is a bit more pricey.
