Springwood Conservation Park is a beautiful spot for a morning walk with lots of stairs to get your heart pumping. Loved seeing wallabies along the way!

Beautiful walking track

Start at the top to walk through some peaceful nature, arriving at the bottom to then tackle the 'Stairs of Death' to head back up.

Nice walk in the nature, nestled in the suburb of Springwood. Easy paved walks though the greens and the historical quarry.

A hidden urban gem. It's an actual gorge that you walk in and around in suburban Springwood, in Logan. Some of the trail heads are at Plateau Drive, parking near the girl guides hut, Jardine drive with a dedicated parking area and Light Street, foot access only no parking. People come here because there is a set of stairs that people go up and down for fitness. Stairs at the Jardine Street trail head. There is also a walking trail that goes down into the gorge and around its sides with rather cool looking large boulders. The official trail is a mix of concrete, pebble concrete and bitument sections with some steepish sections and stairs to climb. Toilets and drinking fountain at Jardine Street car park an I think there was a drinking fountain at the Light Street trail head. As always, look out for snakes in Aussie urban bush. Apparently, it's also wheelchair accessible as there was a trail marked as wheelchair trail at the Jardine Street trail head. You might want to send someone over first to confirm it's wide enough and to scope out the inclines, which could be a bit gnarly but fun.

Visited on a quiet, rainy weekday morning. Very peaceful walking amongst the trees hearing the birds and water flowing. The steep stairs were a good heart pumper to start with! There is a lookout, information signs, seating & a few bridges along the walk. The paving appears in good condition. I checked out the wheelchair friendly circuit which is short but lovely. 2 x disabled car spaces provide easy access to the start. Dog friendly on leash. An informative hut with map at the start plus single stall male & female toilets available. Toilet appeared clean but soap dispenser empty (I carry my own). Carpark wasn’t very busy but I’d imagine it would be on weekends.

Great little bush oasis in the middle of suburbia. Awesome for walks. It is quite hilly in places and there is the infamous "stairs of death" (steep 135 step staircase) so great for exercise.
Plus there is the wildlife, birds, lizards and the occasional wallaby to spot.

This park is well looked after. Depend from which your starting point is, it has uphill coming from Chatswood Rd - John Paul college. No noise disturbance besides lovely kukabaras and other natives. The path is safe and was quickly secured after the heavy storms. The stretch O walk is from the beginning and back around 5600 steps and 4.4 km
