Willow

We had our wedding reception at Willow and it was just what I thought it would be - absolutely beautiful! The venue is stunning at night and one of those spots that doesn't need a lot of decor. Tyler has been wonderful to work with from the moment we started our venue search to the big day! We reside in NC so we had to do all of the logistics hundreds of miles of way, but Tyler tried to make the process as seamless as possible for us. Tyler is also pretty up to date with what's "in" from a wedding world. Our taste and some things were similar, so we meshed well! We even had he swag surfing with us on the dance floor, lol. Willow is a one stop shop for a lot of your needs and is able to make it as simple or luxury of an event that you're looking for. We added on a cake, champagne greeting and appetizers at the last minute that elevated our wedding. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful our wedding was. Location is ideal! Next to a variety of hotels, restaurants and bars. Venue is spacious with loft feel so 118 guests never felt on top of one another. Available amenities such as linen selection, extensive menu options, parking garage, bar selection, add On's (late night snack, dessert cocktail / bar) Our ceremony was held at Slate, and it was also beautiful and served its purpose! Spacious enough for our guests, enough hiding spots so you never saw the Groom. The speakers aren't Bluetooth capable, so we had to buy a longer cord to control the music since it's tucked away in a closet. Crisis adverted though!

Cons: The food was just okay to me. I think over 100 guests, a second bartender is needed. Some of the guests complained about the line. The drink of choice for my husband and I wasn't available (Jamison and Don Julio) weren't options so that was a bummer. But still overall, great event and venue! We would choose Willow if we had to do it all over again!

I am a Wedding Planner who has worked with Tyler at Willow - I have to say, he is a 10/10! Always willing to assist with anything we need, prompt to respond, and genuinely cares about his couples & clients. Willow itself is a stunning venue. It was clean, the service was top notch, and the food from Fifth Wheel Catering was the BEST. We highly recommend Willow as your wedding or event venue.

The venue is an okay space for receptions and events, but the audio is garbage (the feedback and poor speaker quality just led to everyone yelling instead). For an event in June, the AC should have been much higher as most of the guests were perfectly sweating or using the agenda to fan themselves. Food was like sad cruise fare and questionably cooked.

Our wedding at Willow was more incredible than we could have imagined. Thanks to Tyler for making the event so amazing! The venue was perfect for our wedding ceremony and reception of 90 guests. The space is elevated, distinct, and memorable. And has a romantic feel when it is lit up with candles at night.

Willow is less than a 5-minute walk from several nearby hotels (so you don’t need to pay for a shuttle or worry about rides home). Convenient location for guests flying into the STL airport (no rental car necessary). Close to great locations for wedding party photos (Central Library, Forest Park, etc).

The food and drinks were so good! And our wedding cake was exactly what we wanted. We loved that Willow provided all of the food, drinks, wedding cake, dessert, linens, etc. so we had fewer vendors to coordinate with. We had our wedding reception at Willow this past summer. It was truly everything we could have hoped for. The space itself is beautiful and it was set up exactly how we wanted it the day of. Tyler was great from the beginning, always answering our many questions and making us feel at ease. The rest of the staff was also fantastic and the night ran incredibly smoothly. We did not have any issues in the planning process or on the day of. There are so many options for setting up and decorating the space that we felt we could really personalize our day. I would highly recommend using Willow and Slate for your wedding.

Willow is an absolutely beautiful venue. We had our reception at Slate, wedding at Willow. Their catering, fifth wheel catering did an amazing job with our food- we did the bbq bar. Brisket and mac and cheese was delicious. All their staff was wonderful. Tyler made planning so easy and stress free. None of my questions or concerns went unanswered and I asked.. A LOT! His communication day off was most important part of our wedding day. All day he communicated times, asked how I was doing, made sure my husband was in another room when I arrived to Slate for the ceremony, he kept track of everything. He even bustled my dress for me while me and my husband were taking pictures! Our wedding was everything we wanted, the best night of our lives and it couldn't have been that way without Willow and the help of Tyler & the staff.

Epic baby shower. Staff was excellent and accommodating.
Good food, lovely venue. Probably only 👶 shower at Willow but event was very nice.
