My wife asked to leave something at front, the worker pushed it off the counter and said no leave store, then proceeded to called my wife garbage, and showing his middle finger to us while we were talking to Manger, he kept coming at us trying to argue and fight.

Overcrowded hard to enjoy when there’s to many people. I felt trapped when it was time for us to go home as we had to leave through a very overwhelmingly crowded gift shop. Honestly they should make it a straight path to the exit, if someone wants to by something they will.

A delightful array of gift items from the Vancouver Aquarium here! I especially love the sea otter plush dolls and the glass jellyfish ornaments! Nice place to get souvenirs on your way home.

My son was charged, told that it did not go through, the amount did go through his account. I waited a couple weeks thinking it would reverse. When I called the Supervisor didn’t bother to look into, immediately told me to dispute it and would not look into it. Not a huge charge…but 17 dollars also not nothing for a kid.

So i ordered on line their covid masks.....they arrived and they were too order form....I submitted stating i had not ordered small but medium ...Their response was to ignore the submission of the photo which proves they were in error and sent me a letter saying sorry no refund or exchange.....I was a monthly contriuter to the Aquarium ....I will be cancelling that....so now they lose $500 ....All for being either dumb ...Its a pity but their are other people who are not deceitful......FOLLOW UP......THE gift shop contacted me and explained they could not find the photo i sent of the masks......They are sending me the correct masks....So i am pleased to edit this post......I also should have more patience as they are trying hard to survive under difficult situation....i do recommend everyone become a monthly donor for a small amount ...You can do so on their web site

Cool little gift shop. But beware... If you buy something with liquid in it, like items they do sell here, security won't let you take it. So be careful what souvenirs you buy if your going to be flying out. Not sure why they don't tell you this when you buy something with a liquid in it. Might be a nice heads up. But they didn't with me.

I love the aquarium and support the work they do but the service at the yvr was poor. I was at the store at 8:35pm and they had already packed up. I could only browse half the store and the sales assistant was staring impatiently at me. I picked out a gift and asked to purchase and she asked if I wanted to use credit. I said yes and she said she couldn't do that so I said fine I'll use cash and she said she couldn't do that either the till was closed. Another customer started heading to the store and she practically jumped at her and said they were closed. It was only 8:40. She said they had to pack up early because they don't get paid overtime. I had to wait till her coworker came back so she could escort me to Hudson News to pay. The yvr needs to pay their employees to properly close the store or advertise that the store closes at 8:30pm.
