Nice quick stop over. the Ferry just constantly runs so don’t expect it to depart when your ticket says.

5 min ferry ride to governors island with nice views
A great out of the city retreat. Book tickets online prior. Ferry is free till Noon including the bicycle. Line of outside the building when you bring a stroller, cooler or bicycle. The ferry at 9:30 am is relatively empty and you have te island for yourself upon arrival. Downside is that food options are limited till noon. Crowds arrive as of 11 am.
