This is my new go to sushi place. It’s a little far from where I love their sushi and the service. The sushi is just top notch! It’s just feel the same eating anywhere else if I can’t eat here.

The food served by the Chinese Japanese restaurant is probably a bit below average in LA area. The Wagyu beef fried rice wasn’t worth the $28 price tag as the beef was quite hard to chew. The sashimis were okay, but could be fresher. The Chowanmushi was pretty bland. The food overall wasn’t terrible, but certainly falls short of expectation.

We had okay food here. Service = OK, food = OK but $$$$.
but don't support a place that buys obviously fake reviews. See the 5 star reviews from months ago with Arabic or fake names by people who probably have never been to Rowland Heights, much less this restaurant.

Last year I came here and ordered a foie gras rice dish, the foie gras had a bitter taste and a strong fishy odor. It was the first time I had such a bitter foie gras in a foie gras rice dish. The teriyaki sauce in the rice couldn't mask the bitterness and fishy taste of the foie gras. I have never eaten such a bad foie gras before. After finishing the meal, we even asked the owner if there was something wrong with the foie gras today. To our surprise, she told us that foie gras itself has that taste. I find it absurd; they must think the customers are fools. We were speechless, and we definitely won't come again. It's expensive and tastes awful. We ordered a few items for two people and it cost $220, and we still couldn't get full. I suggest avoiding this place. Not recommended.

Small, quite authentic Japanese restaurant. Sushi and sashimi were fresh and yummy. However, I couldn't say the same on the supposed grilled big octopus which was rubbery and does not taste fresh. The tempura was not crunchy enough and bland to taste, quite different from what I had before. Service is ok considering there's only one Japanese lady getting the orders and serving the food. I guess because they are not that busy. Nevertheless, service is a bit compromised. Overall, I think it's ok to give the restaurant another chance, so I will come back and try the food again.

This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the SGV. No one can match their quality and value of their OMAKASE specials. This joint is tucked in a plaza in Rowland Heights where there is an abundance of Chinese restaurants, but don't be fooled because they have REAL Japanese sushi masters. Real fresh and premium quality fish.

Food is decent, and service is great. It's just I don't feel the course worth $180. I will recommend to order each dish through the menu instead of having their courses.
