The Blue Lagoon

Not from Santa Cruz here for my sister bachelorette party and this was my first time ever going to a bar and I had a lot of fun we stopped by some others near and they was way to packed with people hardly any walk space but this one was great really fun time and very welcoming

Good prices and good dive vibe. Bar staff was great too

Soooo first off best bar in Santa Cruz. You go anywhere and they’ll indulge the alcoholism for profit. At Blue they will indulge your PERSONALITY, especially if you happen to meet Kevin, the absolute soul of the establishment. If you don’t at least try this place out I’m sorry for you but also love you. KEVIN IS THE MAN!

I think it's a cool bar not the fanciest but that's preference I don't knock things based on that. The drinks and the service are cool, the drinks are ipas, tap, shots whatever you typically get anywhere else. The service is chill they are typically laid back only time things heat up is when its crowded understandable. The 2 rooms for events are okay nothing super special but hi its something. My gripe is the bathroom situation they dont have enough I would want more.

First time had a good time got to see some bands play sleeping brass is so good look forward to going back

Update: I am not sure who was managing last night but there many issues.
1) the sound guy fried the bands amp.
2) they stopped doing tickets sales even though it was a full house. The bands was only laid $17 dollars each....

Awesome time! Glad this place sticks to the basic principles. Great vibes! Looking for7171ward to coming here again.

Dive Bar, dance club, concert venue. Killer spot to hang out.

A few jerk bartenders (the dudes) but more than made up for by the Tattoo'ed Valkyrie who ended up taking care of us.

Made some great memories.
