Miraj Islamic Art Gallery

It appeared to be open on Google Maps but it's closed. I came at 4.30 pm on Thursday.

Not a museum or an art gallery. It was a really expensive carpet store

Came here on a day trip from Dubai in February.
We wanted a taste of local history and culture but this place is not a museum.
However a short tour of the place was satisfactory.

This half hearted gift shop is masked as an art gallery. Tourists on discount tours are pitched expensive products for no reason. This was injected into our tour and not part of the itinerary. Please skip this location.

Don’t be fooled by this place, it’s privately own not related to the royals like they make it seem, it’s a store not a museum and they are trying to sell you some art pieces under false pretenses, we bought a “hand made rug with natural stones and gold plated strings” and find out, after we took it to our Jewerly store in Dubai that the stones were plastic and gold strings was just color painted , you can get the exact same piece for a fraction of the price, at any of the markets and hotels stores around Dubai and Abu Dhabi. After we went back to make the claim the tried to exchange it for Jewerly or anything else. Please stay AWAY!!! from this place there is way to much to see on this city for you to waist your time here. I don’t know why they still open and how the government let them operate, they lie to tourists and steal there money by overcharging for souvenirs because that’s what they sale souvenirs NOT unique art pieces.

It's not an art gallery, it's a shop. They will sell you fake things at high prices. My mother was scammed into buying a fake watch. We were brought in by our driver. When I read other reviews, the same thing happened to them. Don't be fooled!

Please don't waste your valuable time there.
Acting like you are going to sale something not they.
Very expensive from the market value what they sale.
The team don't respect at entrance
