I recently had my wedding reception at PEC and where do I begin? Cecelia and her team did an amazing job to ensure our day went smoothly and were so accommodating! The venue location was perfect and there was tons of parking for guests! The food was so delicious and all of our guests loved it! The bartenders and all the staff were so kind and friendly, I highly recommend booking any event at PEC! Big thank you to Cecelia and her team for making our wedding a night we will never forget

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue! The location was incredibly convenient, with ample parking that made it easy for our guests. From start to finish, everything was so well organized, and the event manager Cecelia was an absolute gem! She and the entire staff were attentive, professional, and made sure all our needs were met seamlessly.
The venue’s audio and visual package was fantastic, and it really added to the atmosphere of our big day. On top of everything, the pricing was very reasonable, especially for the level of service we received. Communication with the team was a breeze, and they made the whole planning process stress-free. We highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a perfect place for their special day!

We celebrated a wedding reception for my son at this venue recently and we are very satisfied with all the arrangements. Special thanks to Event Manager Cecelia. She is in one word "Awesome". The way she managed this event was exceptional. Thanks Cecelia. We highly recommend this place.

Highly recommend this event space! Ask for Cecelia when you go to tour/book and you won't regret it. She went above and beyond for our special event and I will never forget the kindness she showed us throughout the entire planning process. She was extremely helpful, attentive, and caring. She genuinely loves her job and that was made clear the day we met, and continued in the months we spend communicating to ensure our event was perfect. Thank you so much cecelia! You rock!

We hosted a birthday event here. Cecelia and Abhi were great event managers. They worked with our budget, made sure the event fit the vibe we wanted and worked with our caterer for the food. The food was served on time and it was hot. The bathrooms were neat and tidy. Abhi paid attention to all the details - we didn't have to worry about anything. Highly recommend having your next event here.

Very disappointed. The venue itself had enough space, was clean, the food was good and the kitchen staff were helpful. There was however a lot left to be desired in every other way. We did have some last minute number changes which was on us, but the venue staff were outwardly rude and hostile about changes. We came to set up Friday and there was no toilet paper in the washroom, and they held another meeting in our decorated space. The DJ booth situation was crazy. The venue rented out a package and did not know how to use it...the package should include specs required for people running their own music. DJ booth is not compatible with windows...they were told they needed a lap top and that was it so there were huge issues with that. The venue people were not well versed in their equipment, as they were unsure how to dim the lights when we asked and they needed to be reminded to turn onthe lighting package that was purchased. Even provided with a schedule staff were still pestering guests and the couple throughout the evening. Unfortunately, toward the end of the evening we were told to shut down as a guest procured outside alcohol. We understand this HOWEVER the man in charge of the venue manhandled the Bride even though we were attempting to clear out. Completely and utterly unprofessional and uncalled for. Lucky you are getting a 2 and that is for the good food and helpful wait staff.

Pickering Event Centre made our night a night we will cherish for years. We decided the best way to review them is to break down how outstanding their service has been overall:
1. Booking the event space: Our primary contact throughout was Johney (one of the owners), and it was a pleasure to work with him. He answered all our emails promptly and with clarity and always had his answers in blue under our questions to make it easier.
2. Day of event: The Pickering event centre accommodated our needs and allowed us to access the venue earlier as we were the venue's decorators. Allowing us early access meant a lot to us as it allowed for a stress-free setup. Of course, this depended on whether a different event used the space.
3. Night of event: Every staff member worked hard to ensure our night was a success. The staff and owners were not only ensuring things were taken care of; they were so pleasant to deal with. We loved how they had a digital menu over their bar to make it easy for our guests to understand our inventory. We loved how they had a monitor at the front for us to have a digital seating chart.
The space is cozy and perfect for 150 attendees. We loved how it was easy to customize a package based on our needs, thanks to the many options they have. We loved how they already had a hedge wall, which made it easy for us to utilize for our photo booth. The place is well designed, and we see ourselves having more intimate events here in the future.
