Experimental Farm Gardens

Beautiful stroll through the ornamental Gardens, rock garden and the Tropical Greenhouse. Our group spent over an hour and a half walking around admiring the flowers and trees and was free! There are great walking paths overlooking the Canal too! Lots to see and do. We did not have time to visit the animals in the barns but will do so next visit. Parking is $1 an hour.

The experimental farm is a great place to visit for families. A walk through on how dairy farming works in Ontario. There are animals you are able to see and lots of reading material.
In this particular visit, we spent more time walking through the gardens. My husband is a horticuluralist and really enjoys looking at the various plant genetics.
Beautiful gardens and flowers, it's a great place to get dressed up and take some nice photos.

A good place that you can know about the farm animals and how the farm works. There are honey for you to try and lavender craft. They are all free!

$5 per hour parking, if you can find a spot. They also have "friend of the farm" parking, but again, no spots whatsoever.

Great spot for little kids!
