Nice park to get away for a bit. Not really a part to take small children. My consideration is for single person or couple of all ages.

There are picnic tables w/no grills. Would've been nice to fix myself a couple of burgers and then be on my way.

First of all, the park was really well maintained and looked super clean. I didn't notice any litter or debris anywhere, which is always a plus. As far as safety goes, I didn't feel like there was anything to worry about. The park was peaceful, and there weren't many people around. The natural environment of the park was pretty simple - just a grassy field with a few paved paths. While there weren't any restrooms available, there was a wooden shelter and a few benches scattered around the area. Unfortunately, there wasn't any accessible parking available either. As far as crowds go, it was almost deserted when I visited. It was so empty that I could easily imagine having a relaxing lunch or taking a leisurely stroll around the park. For all you Pokémon GO fans out there, there's even a gym located in the park. Overall, Founder Park is a nice little oasis in the middle of a concrete jungle. The only downside is that it's located right next to a busy road, so the noise level can be a bit much.

Beautiful setting my daughter and I ate our lunch at one of the picnic tables enjoyed by both of us.

A very quite walk or run or bike ride. A paved trail thats pretty wide and accommodating for hikers and bikers at the same time. A lively creek runs along the trail putting you real close to nature, actually surprised at how much wildlife i did see, with being so close to main roads and a developing city in all. Got to see a blue herring but couldn't snap a photo. Rarely do see them in fairfield but they are indeed here, have seen them in and around some of the larger bodies of water in fairfield. Pretty relaxing Park/Trail.
