Not much parking, slightly more at the top than the bottom. Great place for a stroll or to walk the dog. Especially if you've got one that likes the water. Not particularly steep unless you venture down to the stream in the wooded area. The main track is gravel from the bottom to the top but the track through the woods is quite sandy and a little stony in places. Definitely waterproof boots or wellies in the winter months.

Did not disappoint. Got slightly lost i think, took dog so he enjoyed, trees are stunning, not sure i reached the top or maybe it just went around in a circle as a few paths were going on off main route. Will be back again, very quiet, only seen two people walking up and a cyclist on way back down. No litter that i saw , a few doggy poo bags but in fairness there was not a bin in sight. Few spaces for parking at start. Will be back again.

It's great for a walk, lots of different routes for a different walk each time! Only down side is the amount of dog mess for the few hundred metres or so on the sides of the path, some in bags and some not in bags. If there was a dog waste bin at the start that would probably make a big difference. Aside from that, once further in it's a beautiful site.

Lovely place for a stroll. I did a circular route right to the top and back down which took about 2 hours in total. Lovely forestry and just a natural environment. Great place to explore or walk the dog. Very interesting place, seeing some of the rivers and streams. Some were orange due to the oxidation of iron but they were all so beautiful.

Stunning mature deciduous woodland. Particularly beautiful in springtime when bluebells carpet the woodland floor.

Parking is an issue as there is only dedicated parking for 8-10 cars by Margam Lake. Please be mindful of the local residents if parking along the verges.

Within walking distance of Margam Park, (about a mile).

Great place to walk the dog. Walked along the gravel track to the top, above the pumping station and then back down the other side of the valley along a footpath. Great views and lots of running water to cool the dogs down.

Love this place for off lead dog walking. No poo bins so please take your waste with you as its such a beautiful place it would be a shame for it to get ruined. Not much parking on the road but I've never had a problem with this, I do go at quiet times however.
