WWII Coastal Observation Bunker

Nice piece of local history. Could use a restoration.
Overall worth the time if you are in the area.

Beautiful place but they should have put fences up to stop people from graffiting it more

When you park up.
There is some sort of trail, that leads up to the hill on your right.
May I suggest you wear appropriate walking shoes, there’s a lot of rocks and or sandstones to climb over once you reach the bunker.

Small piece of local history, but neglected. Great views though, and easy 4WD access to the beach.

It looks more like a tomb raided by grave robbers.

Not a huge amount to see here other than the bunker, which is covered in graffiti, and some pleasant views of the surround area and beach. It's a short walk up the hill from the car park, and dogs are allowed with you which is nice.

Interesting place, would have never known about it if it didn't show up on Google maps!
No details at the site about the bunker or from a quick online search, such a shame as it is a valuable piece of history.
Looks like a hobo hideout, I wouldn't visit it at night.
