A sanctuary in Napa. This property is part of Napa County Land Trust, but you do not have to wait for scheduled guided access. You or a hiking buddy do need to attend an initial orientation - held monthly.
This is not a Park. It is a Preserved piece of wooded, mountainous terrain maintained by loving caretakers.
3 day advance notice is required prior to hiking.

Such an unsung gem of the Napa outdoor experience! 100% recommend going through the orientation via Land Trust Napa Valley so you can spend time here. There's a waterfall!

I proposed to my wife at the waterfall at the end of one of the trails. It felt like a little piece of land that God carved out just for her and I. Its a simple place that you need a reservation for. Which I'm not sure why people hate so much. Just call 2 days before...? Anywho, maybe it's nostalgia, but its one of my favorite places on earth.

This is some of the most beautiful land I have ever seen.
Now that I'm older the last item on my to-do list is to travel out there again & hike through The Archer Taylor Land Preserve.

Not a place to just go and hike. Owners want you go sign up for a gimmicky workshop. Very disappointed in the napa valley open land system. Wanted to go up and hike for the day, website says you must contact the owners 48 hours in advance! What a load of sh$t!
