Turning Point Theatre Arts

Turning Point Theatre Arts gives its pupils a number of unique opportunities including performances across the UK and abroad. Classes in a variety of dance styles such as ballet, modern, tap, jazz, acrobatics and aerial hoop, commercial and musical theatre. The supportive environment provided by the staff and other students allows the dancers to become versatile and confident performers while having fun and making life long friendships. Should you want to work professionally within the industry Turning Point is able to guide you and prepare you for auditions before going on to professional training. The welcoming atmosphere allows dancers of all ages and abilities to thrive. Turning point is a family where you can make friendships that last a lifetime along side dance training taught by the incredibly encouraging and friendly staff, many of who have worked professionally within the industry.

This place is very welcoming I enjoy the many variety of dance styles here at turning point theatre arts many things stand out especially our opportunities as a dance school we have been all around the country and have been to both Paris and LA to dance at Disney. The variety of classes is spectacular ranging from tap to valet and even singing and musical theatre. The best thing about this school though is by far the amazing and skilled staff Miss Gail, Miss Holly,Miss Melinda,Miss Vickey and many others who are incredibly supportive in both helping us develop in dance and incredibly supportive in mental health and well being.
Turning point is so much more than just a dance school, It is a family.

Being part of the turning point community is like being in one big happy family. I have been involved in so many amazing opportunities during my time here such as opening the silverstone Grand Prix race, Blackpool opera house, the platform, Lancaster music festival, the youth games and most recently Disneyland Paris. I have enjoyed improving my ability and confidence in different genres of dance examples of these are ballet, tap, modern, jazz, commercial and many more. I have been so lucky to be taught by the amazing teachers here at tp under the watchful eye of our fantastic principal miss gail.
