Behans Fruit & Veg - Athlone

Beautiful shop, especially upon entering. Great produce and selection. People that work there are wonderful! Genuinely nice and friendly.

While I was visiting Athlone from Canada last summer I enjoyed the fresh fruit and vegetable and seafood ordered from Behans. So I thought of them for a birthday gift basket for a friend and could not have been more pleased! I sent an email and Sharon Behan arranged everything and made it so easy!

Such a gorgous little Fruit and Veg, ,a little bit of old Ireland and what it should be like today. The staff are so friendly and polite, will do anything they can to help.
Great value too, you can't beat Fresh over supermarket bought...Ever!!

Fabulous shop with huge range of local seasonal fruit and Veg plus local artisan products from cheese to oats to sourdough bread.
Great friendly knowledgeable staff always willing to advise.

Always a great range of fresh herbs and vegetables, as well as a good range of dry goods (seeds, nuts etc). Service always first class!

Great shop, top quality produce, sourced locally where possible, friendly service, great range of spices and preserves. Really good in house cheese shop.
