Being a local its important to get good quality produce and know where it is coming from, having researched alot of butchers in the area I went back to basics and started with my local - with online website having influence in the range of meats they have and different types it was easy for me to make selections for planning meals ahead of time - their ginger and sage sausages are one of my favourites they have been a benefit with ongoing health issue - so If you are looking to change up where you get your food from your meat in particular - head to Arbury and the art of meat

Fabulous butchers with competitive prices. I'm new to the area and bought all my meat here for Christmas and the New Year. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. I have just cooked a brisket of beef in my slow cooker and it was simply gorgeous. My new 'go to' butchers and thank you for all your advice.

Lovely, enthusiastic staff who clearly take a great deal of pride in their produce. We purchased a variety of sausages for a bangers and mash night with friends. With at least five different varieties to choose from, the sausages were top quality and our friends really enjoyed the different flavours and textures. Highly recommend this shop.

Got 30 kebabs( extremely tasty black garlic marinade) recently and 5 sausages for a BBQ. Awesome price, awesome quality it's a shame didn't get more. Exceptionally satisfied, cheers !

A fantastic butcher with lovely staff who are genuinely interested in helping you. I have always found the staff here able to offer good advice on what you’re cooking and have cooked a number of lovely meals as a result!

The meat is top quality and reasonably priced unlike some other butchers in Cambridge. I am not local to The Art of Meat but always use it as my ‘local’ butcher. The sausages are worth the trip across town alone!

I was looking for a butcher that will mince specific cuts of meat for burgers. Surprisingly it was a bit hard to find but then I called the art of meat. The person on the phone was very friendly and was happy to do it but suggested I should try their own burger mix. He also explained what cuts are in their mixture.

The meat was amazing, perfect meat/fat ratio and great price as well

Friendly. Good butcher's shop. Knowledgeable. Quality products available.
Sells dry cure bacon. A good variety of sausages. Lovely beef, different cuts Pork chops & belly are great. Staff are polite and intetested in what you want and even plan to do with the meat. Again staff are informative and offer time and information with being asked. I.e the next time certain cuts will be available.
I'd give them 6 out of 5 if I could just for effort and being brave to stock good quality items for their customers.

Fantastic Butcher! For my son's 18th we were cooking for 24 people. I emailed around and asked for good and affordable steak. Not only was Jon the first butcher to respond to the email request, he also gave me the best offer. Jon recommended Flat Iron steak; I had never heard of it, but took his advice (it was a LOT cheaper than the sirloin another butcher had recommended on the same request). We BBQ'd the steaks and they were absolutely gorgeous! Couldn't have been better. All the guests commented on how nice the meat was.
In short; great friendly service and outstanding steaks! We will definitely be back for more soon :)
