If there is anything that comes to making art. . . Mike probably has it. His inventory is amazing.
I live in Long Beach Washington and make the drive to the store at least once a week.
Sometimes I have a list of stuff I want
and other times I just browse

I love this store so much! Everytime I'm on the coast visiting family, I make the trip out. I've dragged many a family member in (and they've all been glad they came) and happily plunked down plenty of money for the gorgeous art supplies sold here.
They honestly have some of the best selection of any independently owned art supply store I've ever been in. They carry the best brands for countless mediums, including my favorites for gouache and watercolor. Their prices are very fair, and sometimes far better than what you will find at other places, including Amazon. A few times, I've purposely checked prices and discovered I was getting a better deal in store than if I ordered the same product anywhere else. Not too mention, I know the quality is guaranteed and better with anything I purchase there.
Also, they have a couple of the sweetest, most polite little pets sometimes greeting customers or relaxing as you enter.
Stop in, look around, and support this lovely, wonderful local shop. It's a marvelous little gem in a gorgeous part of the state.

I LOVE Fine Art Supply! A family-owned and operated art supply store on the main drag in AStoria, it's well-stocked and staff/owners are knowledgeable, generous, and wonderfully engaged. I'll go back at every opportunity.

They have a great choice of pencils, pens, paper, paints (oil, acrylic, water), pastels, brushes of all kinds, and other accessories.

Excellent selection of fine art supplies. Even had the specific markers I was looking for. The owner and his new kitten were extremely nice.

Without a doubt, the best art store in the area. If you were to imagine what an art store in picturesque Astoria should or would be, you would likely imagine this store. The owners are amazing people. They have a great selection of supplies, are extremely knowledgeable, and are super helpful. You can tell this place is operated with passion and heart. I have encountered artists of all types and skill levels here, and all seem to share my feelings. I appreciate Mike very much for helping me with my artistic journey.

A remarkable store, packed with quality supplies. Everyone there is happy to help and offer advice, or to just let you wander around and see what's there. I've never felt like anyone was trying to push supplies. In fact, I have been gently guided away from an expensive product to something less costly because it was more appropriate for what I was planning to do.
Check with them on the art class schedule. I signed up for a watercolor class, and it's making all the difference between something that I would have struggled with on my own, and developing some skills that I'm proud of.
