This is a small community garden where you can lease a box to grow your own vegetables or flowers. The location appears to be kept in order and access to the area is readily available. The garden is located next to the historic Boulder City Water Filtration Plant, which is being restored the last we heard and there is a sign to that effect located at the site. Also, near by the garden is the Teddy Fenton Memorial Park Reflections Center. The garden is open from 0500 to 2200 hours daily. Again, this is not a very large area, but if you live in Boulder City and want to grow a few vegetables of your own, this just might fit the bill. We also included some photos of the filtration plant, which is worth the look if you are in the area. Finally, there are no restrooms or picnic areas near the garden.

I bring my son here multiple times a week to look at everyone's beautiful plants and dig for worms. It is a really nice time. Everyone we see there is very kind and enjoyable to be around.

I enjoy walking through the gardens to see what people are growing. When a box is available you can lease it and grow your own plants. Most people grow vegetables, while a couple have flowers. One box had spices and herbs. There is a picnic table close by for a snack or lunch. Located on the property of the old water treatment plant. Be sure and check that out. We have taken many photographs over the years in front of that building. It provides a unique backdrop for family or engagement type pictures. Also on the property is the Teddy Fenton Memorial Reflections park. A good way to repurpose the property. Hopefully the big building doesn't meet the same fate as the historical hospital.
