Forest Lakes Park

Clean, Safe, and quiet area, perfect to hang out with friends, bring children, etc

This park has a lot going for it. Exercise trail is really nice. You got pull up bars, basketball Court and the children's playground is well thought out. Oak trees provide shade where you can sit and watch your kids play. Has swing one for big kid one for small kid. Has jungle Jim and two slides. Also the north side of the walking trail has mature oaks where you can see several squirrels. The field in middle of the trails is vast and just cut so you have space to play soccer, football, baseball. So there is a water fountain but no bathroom..

It's very clean and well maintained. Sufficient shadow at high noon and nice and quiet. There are a few musical toys (three xylophone-like).

This park is really quaint and has a lot of fun play for kids. There is also a basketball court right near this park as well as a walking path. My kids really enjoy this park! It’s well chafed and a few benches for parents to sit.

I really like how it introduces very small kids to nature, exploring, climbing, hiking, etc., all in a very controlled environment. They lose a star for how it seems no one is looking after it and there are fire ant hills you gotta watch out for. But again, that might just add to the intended experience so it might be a postive. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Renovated kids section. It's great and my son really enjoyed playing in the new swings and slides. Best of all, no sand anymore!!!

I only wished it had a canopy to protect the kids from the sun. But the new park is very nice.
