Shuffle Club

Love the music they’ve been bringing in as of late and love the nostalgic Hifi vibes. However, two things need to addressed - the bathrooms being upstairs is a serious buzz kill. I avoid sports bars and seek out dance clubs. You’re taken out of a good headspace and we’re forced to go upstairs to a sports/top 40 bar and wait in line for what seems like 2?? working washrooms? for 2/3 levels of patrons. Do the math.
It’s really not ideal and I avoid coming here due to this issue. People upstairs are nowhere near the same crowd that’s down.

Also, no coat check. Last year we busted a female attempting to steal items and sifting through everyone’s jackets (mine included). Leads me to think it was also staff as she snuck out the door where the bar is located in shuffle club once we confronted her.

Music is great but it needs a bit of a vibe check.

This place needs to show accurate opening and closing times. They close at 2:30am, but google says they open at 12am and close at 5 pm. The staff acted like I was crazy when I brought this up, and I LITERALLY SHOWED THEM THE HOURS ON GOOGLE!! Most clubs close at 2am, so this was a disappointment. Please get it together!!!!!!

Went here last night for shuffle club, was charged $20 at the door I turned around to go outside to smoke and she was charging the people behind me $10 to get in. So you guys just pick and choose who pays what so I won't be returning. Says the anime girl with blue hair.

Great spot, my current favorite place to catch some tasty beats after the closure of our beloved HiFi. Small, sweaty and not too serious, like any good dancefloor should be. Would love to see some more DnB or Bass music artists play here, but that is just my personal taste. Keep it up Shuffleclub

I really like this place. The bar has a good price for cocktails, good dj's to dance, you can play, they have several games

Staple for regular dance excursions in Calgary. Have house and techno nights every Friday and Saturday usually free of charge unless a big act is coming. Sweaty and cozy basement with good energy. Bar service is good and friendly.

If u want to listen to some great House and Techno, this is the Best spot in Calgary!

Great little spot in the basement of Home and Away. Usually find myself here on the weekends for the techno and house events they host. The space is cozy and the dance floor sometimes gets steamy but it’s hands down always a good time. The majority of staff are friendly and welcoming. There generally isn’t an entry fee unless they have Dj’s that are more popular in the industry performing.
