Great food, great service, fantastic views.
4 star as it’s expensive but we knew that it would be from the location.

We came to Al Gabbiano for a quick drink to escape the August heat but we were met with much more.

Imran our waiter was delightful and very attentive.

The frozen daiquiris are delicious and actually taste like fruit and not just the overwhelming taste of rum.

The food was delicious and the ravioli (spinach, ricotta & sage butter sauce) is the best I have ever had.

Throughly recommend this gem of a restaurant!!

It was not a pleasant experience. We said the waiter that we were in a hurry, we had 30 min to have a meal and asked how long will it take to cook pasta with seafood. We were said that approximately 10-15 min. 30 minutes after that we still didn’t get our pasta. Personnel were just drinking wine or something near the bar and I thought that they just didn’t care.
We ordered aperols as well and we got them faster and they were delicious.
We asked to serve pasta to take away. And they forgot to put needed amount of cutlery. Moreover, our waiter hardly spoke English, although it’s a touristic place.

So I strongly don’t recommend visiting this restaurant!

Being so close to our apartment, Al Gabbiano quickly became our favorite restaurant in Venice. It's rare to find a place that combines such exquisite cuisine with breathtaking views and exceptional service. This is a 5-star experience that we will cherish and look forward to repeating on our next visit to this beautiful city.

Paula our server was so lovely and the service was great, made us feel very welcome and was very informative. She can help this restaurant to go to the next level with her immaculate service. The food was absolutely delicious and was quickly served. Loved absolutely everything about this restaurant.

We were walking by and stopped for dinner and a cocktail. I would not recommend this place for food. It is very over priced! The lasagna was just not good it tasted like microwave lasagna. The spaghetti was ok but not worth the money. For the second course I had the steak which was okay. Our bill was 130 euros for two people, and I have had a lot better meals in Italy for a lot less. Our server was very nice and attentive. And I overheard him tell another guest that their pizza isn't very good and he wouldn't recommend ordering it.

It was lovely experience dining here, specially Cameriere Albert was really supportive, he served us very warmly even at 10 pm in the night. He was almost closing up & could have said the restaurant is closed but he did attend us. Really recommend the place and amazing service by Albert

Great location, beautiful views, good selection of food and drinks supported by great service from Imran. He gave good suggestions but at the same time wasn’t pushy. We had a very casual relaxed lunch are.
Highly recommend.
