I just bought my 2nd unit from Kevin. This time for my in laws.He does superb work, professional, competitively priced, and excellent customer service.

The technicians than have worked on my chair were all nice and helpful. HOWEVER, this company is HORRIBLE!!!!! They don’t care about their consumers at all. The time it takes for them to answer phones and service emergency repairs is repulsive. They’ve had my old chair for over a year. My new chair has had a multitude of issues and it’s less than a year old. Now I’m stuck in bed because of their lack of attention to emergency

Service is terrible. I waited 1 month for a service call and at 11am on the day of my call I was told the technician was out sick. They offered me another service date one month later. When I strongly objected they offered me an appointment in two weeks. The two weeks is today. Yesterday I got a robo call confirming my appointment today between 11am and 1pm. I called today at 3pm to see when the technician would be arriving. The first person couldn’t reach the technician to see when he might be coming. Finally I managed to get through to a supervisor who said the technician didn’t have me on his schedule and that someone can be at my house tomorrow. I’ll believe it when I see them.

I just bought my 2nd unit from Kevin. This time for my in laws.He does superb work, professional, competitively priced, and excellent customer service. I see some reviews complaining about repairs, but to be fair that’s their wheelchair division which all need authorization from insurance and Medicare. The stairlifts are all private pay and the young man gave us his cell out to make sure there wasn’t any inconvenience . Truly saved my parents and in-laws from moving and maintaining freedom. Highly recommend getting an installment with home medical Equipment company.

I was unable to operate my newly installed stairlift , the first service technician came to my house spent more than one and half hour then informed me that he could not repair the swivel function and I have to wait for them to order a new replacement part. After waiting more than a month I finally got a call from customer service the day before to reserve from 9-5 for a service call today. After reading all the poor reviews of recent customer repair services I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by Ronald Locascio, he showed up at 9:15 , Ronald is extremely knowledgeable and he was able to identify the issue quickly . Ronald is very professional, honest, skillful and he definitely restored my faith of his company completely. I personally think Home Medical Equipments company should promote him to be in charge of repair/service department, he is definitely a valuable asset to restore and elevate their customer service/repair reputation.

Unfortunately I could not give "ZERO" stars. I have been waiting 3 months for my scooter to be repaired. I CAN NOT WALK AND STRANDED AS I DO NOT HAVE A RELIABLE DEVICE. THEY TOOK IT FOR REPAIR AND HAVE NOT RETURNED IN. No calls back (left messages every day). The promised a loaner last week and nothing showed up. I don't wish being disabled to anyone, but they have no idea how they have impacted my life through their lack of response and incompetence. They took the insurance money. I would rather of just gotten a new chair. It is fraud to take payment and not provide service!

A definite star for the staff who couldnt be nicer. But it stops there. We bought a wheelchair that was supposed to be exceptional for $4,000. Screws fell out within the first month. They fixed it the first time free of charge and when I asked what screws I should be sure to keep tight, they told me not to worry, it was fixed now and would work well. A few months later, the brake fell off and the back fell off halfway because screws fell out again. My mom almost fell out of it when the back fell off. Instead of replacing the screws, they wanted to charge us $100 to fix the issues, then a couple weeks later raised the price to $400, claiming parts needed to be replaced in addition to the screws and of course we had to pay for "labor." $4,000 for a chair and it didnt even last a year without us needing to shell out $400 for fixes. Even cheap Medline chairs from Amazon last longer than this one. What a money making scam. P.s. A few days after this happened, my local hardware store sold me the screws AND fixed the chair for a total of .82 cents.
