The worst customer service. Could have potentially made some good business out of me will now get no more. Would not recommend shopping here

A very paranoic owner / a staff member works there - a man who may be one of the owners. This man follows some clients as if they are shoplifter, thinking others having the same personality as himself. Is there anyone in NZ shoplifting low quality 2-10 dollar items that market owners/staff think so and follow you behind through the market rows? And imagine when your son wants to look at necklace, the owners says "shshsh", and a gesture: "don't touch". Then your little one takes a glass or plastic gift bird, and the man says: "no, it is too expensive!". Sellers of a few plastic rubbish, thinking their clients do not have money to pay for items in case if they broke.
It is hard to accept such a behavior, in the middle of Auckland. Hope like us, a few others experiencing similar trouble, report it to Police and Commerce Commission New Zealand. Even if a few of these reports do not make an effect, one day another addition will make it. The Fair Trading Act which prohibits false and misleading behaviour by businesses, which is the enforcement area of Commerce Commission.

I read the other reviews about rude staff, the owners ask for date and time. For us it happened 5.27.2024, around 4:00-4:30pm at 22 Stoddart road, Mt Roskill. But the thing is that the owner who said just arrived there, when I went to talk about the incident to the man who caused it to my family, said the man "ignore him(me) and continue your job". This is their quality. Hope Commerce Commission resolves this incident. No one would like to experience this, from those who have lost their morality.

Come here all the time for baking stuff really affordable, such a good place plus a friendly and welcoming staff…

If you are after a high end but low price dollar shop, then you should definitely come here. Located at the Mt Roskill shopping centre, this outlet has everything you need for your lives and art supply. They are also very good priced, and top in quality. I’ll stop going to other dollar shop but going to this one now. Well done!

The older Asian man at the counter is very rude. I had to return a broken item, which was not fault of my own. He threw the replacement item across the counter and yelled at me. Customer service is minus 0 stars.

I've been coming here a few years now and I've always a good experience. Helpful, & friendly staff I've never had a rude experience which I'm grateful for. Some things a tiny bit overpriced but other then that, I definitely recommend shopping here! :)

Lovely little shop, always a good experience with the samoan lady. Shes always happy friendly and very helpful. If something is not there, she will ring around to see if any have been ordered or on their way. Never have a problem with any of the staff as they are always very helpful and always smiling.
