Highly recommended local Bar.

Definitely not a tourist spot which is why we wanted to go. Great coffee and perhaps the best pastry I had in Rome. Everyone was polite and had a smile. Coffee, 2 pastries, 2 bottles of waters and biscotti for 8 euros.

Wonderful establishment and very nice people. Unlike Gran Caffe Salandra, down the street, which you should avoid at all costs if you are a "turisti." Elsa Coffee, on the other hand couldn't be a happier place and you won't find a better caffe or morning cappuccino anywhere in Rome. Seriously.

Everything is cheap and tasty so such a relief in Rome. There is a youngman, bar tender, super helpful and patient. There is an aged lady but not old. She is super super kind and friendly. The whole vibe is amazing definetely coming back. I ate a torrone (caramel covered nuts) and got 2 cappuccinos and paid around 4.5 euros. Wifi is stable.

All the baristas are so cheerful and although they spoke Italian, they seem to have a great camaraderie with the locals. Good wifi too, so I could stay here and work.

Cutest little store. The owners are the best. God bless mateo for his patience and tolerating our poor Italian. Chef Remo makes delicious sandwiches and paninis. I’d definitely recommend stopping here if you can. The best part is they’re not expensive or pretentious and have the nicest vibe. Also the coffee is delicious.

Authentic small Italian cafe with mostly Italians visiting... Definitely not a tourist trap. A range of croissants and sandwiches. I wanted more foam with my cappuccino but it was delicious anyway. And good and free WiFi. We had a toasted sandwich each and a coffee each and a large bottle of water to take with us and the bill was about EUR 13 which is good value.
