Don’t bother applying for a volunteer organisation that will reject you for a lack of experience, which contradicts the purpose of volunteering.
If you’re foreigner don’t bother applying.

Many annual reports ago, a wonderful volunteer, a retiring bank manager, stepped forward to be voluntary Treasurer to our growing volunteer centre in Hereford. It thrives to this day, thanks to that early guiding hand of Sandy G - and to REACH. Remember his saying with a smile "I'm busier than ever!"
