I have been by this little place soooo many times when I was riding by on my train ( locomotive engineer ) now retired so there is time for us to explore new places.
We enjoyed our time and meal here A LOT!!! We had pizza and a very good Ceasat salad!! Was absolutely delicious. Tim was our waiter. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a great time here and will be back to try other dishes. Highly recommend!!

TLDR: Fake-luxury, not-so-fine-dining.
Place presents itself as being luxurious and charges accordingly. The napkins are made of paper (not exactly what you’d expect from a fine dining restaurant), the cutlery looks like it was bought from a garage sale (none of it matches), the bread is clearly not fresh and is definitely store-bought plain white bread (most good Italian restaurants give you fresh bread and don’t charge, here you don’t even get it warm).
The waitresses aren’t pleasant at all, ironically the tattooed and somewhat intimidating male waiter, is by far the nicest person here.
The atmosphere is nice outside, but our table looked like a dog chewed it. None of the food was good, veal was overcooked and the salad the dirty butt of the lettuce included (which begs the question if it was ever cleaned?)

Mona Lisa Restaurant consistently offers delicious food which is why it is on my list of favourite places to dine! We always start with an order (or two) of the Pane Fritto. On this particular visit, these fluffy dough pillows were well seasoned but not so fluffy. They were a bit tough, and a little dried out. They were still very tasty even though the texture wasn’t the best. Caesar salad was very good. For our main dishes we ordered Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna, and Spinach Cannelloni, and all 3 were delicious! Portion sizes were very satisfying and therefore no room for dessert! Highly recommend making a reservation, especially now that they have downsized.

Always enjoy coming here for dinner. The service is great, the food is fresh, and the signature cocktails change often!

Amazing food and service. Appetizers, salads, entree all perfect. Server made us feel like we were part of the family. Excellent dining experience!

I’m happy to have dined at an Italian restaurant which has certificate of authenticity by government of Italy 🇮🇹! I ordered Gnocchi Al Tartufo but Gnocchi ran out so I got it substituted with Capellini. Then had a tiramisu. Finally tried a cappuccino with amaretto and topped it all off with a pistachio gelato. Cappuccino, gelato, wines were awesome, service was wonderful, ambience was spectacular (I sat outside, Al-fresco)!!! However the pasta dish and tiramisu were just okay, because the taste was bland! They mention the use of truffle oil but I could not smell it or taste it in the dish…moreover the tiramisu was dry and had a very subtle hint of espresso; so these dishes should have been flavourful for the appreciation!

Food was good but nothing out of this world. Pasta at bonfire is better and cheaper and Vera has better pizza... But the atmosphere was nice and patio was perfect for the summer day. Service was great. I am sad that I didn't go for the tiramisu for dessert.... next time I will definitely give it a try. Seafood pasta is a must try at this restaurant.

My very first time there, ordered the cured meat platter. The slices of meat selection were fatty, tasty, and flavorful. The olives, green and black, were what I expected: juicy and mouth watering. The pickled eggplant had a nice texture and was savory. The 🍞 was the only part which was not up to par with the rest of the elements on the plate. It was certainly not bad but not extraordinary either. The salmon portion was HuGe ;) although it somewhat looked not fully cooked. The only bite I had from the salmon made me wonder why I didn't ordered the 🐟 salmon.
