My husband and I had lunch at the restaurant whilst on holiday, having seen great reviews online. The reviews were not good enough, the food, ambience and attentiveness of the staff blew us away. Every course was an absolute delight and a credit to the chef/kitchen. I am a vegetarian and to have such variety of flavours, textures and visually appealing dishes was a first. My husband (a meat eater) was just as impressed as me. We could not believe how reasonable the price was and would recommend to everyone!
Thank you for making our visit so wonderful

I love the food, the way it was presented and everything else . Omg each bite was better than the last. And after finishing I couldn’t pick one best dish, because every dish i had that night was the best.

Went here for a birthday lunch with my spouse in September and we were very very impressed. All seven courses were beautiful to look at and tasted incredible too. We didn't get cocktails but the mocktails we ordered were delicious.

On the service side of things, they were very accommodating of my request for a low lactose meal and offered substitutions where needed. Each course was presented with a detailed explanation (optionally available in English if you ask) which made the experience even lovelier. The restaurant is beautiful as well but our focus was all on the food :)

Let's just say it matched my expectations in all regards! The food was exceptional, the plating was beautiful and the service was differential. Our Indian family of vegetarians had never tried anything like this and it was a unique and memorable experience in multiple regards. We really enjoyed the food and how intricately things were prepared. The amount of care in the food really shines!

We had requested no eggs as part of our allergy restriction and it was a bit disappointing that the server was impatient at explaining how the food was going to be served due to this change. Until the food came for all the courses, we weren't even sure if my parents who had egg restriction will get an alternative course. Overall the service became smoother, but it really felt like we were bothering them by making that intial request. I loved the food but with such incidents, it slightly sours your experience and makes it less enjoyable. We are not from Lyon so we didn't know if we were being treated differently for not understanding the cultural etiquettes or simply that's how things are.

I'm not sure we're to start, but it is definitely a recommended place to discover if you like vegetarian food.
First the place. Beautiful with great attention to detail with a lot of wood and natural materials, fitting it perfectly with the food . You are in a "earthy" place, ready to eat sophisticated dishes from nature earth.
The concept is based on a series of dishes, 7 at lunchtime, and 10 at supper time that you discover along the way. Every dish comes with a precise explanation from the waiter, whichever goes into the concept or the type of flavours that the chef was looking for.
Without going into everything dish, we tried explosive mushroom cream, jerusalem artichokes, panne smoke salted butter, and many more savours new to us. Somme are more exotic or tastier than others, but no lack of new experiences.
Also very accomodating with food restritions as I asked not to have any wine in my dishes and they just find good alternative solutions
It's definitely something to try, enjoy, or be challenge.

In addition to the outstanding food, the staff here was absolutely wonderful. Every single item was a masterpiece of art. It blew my mind how creative the chef was and how beautiful everything looked. I don’t usually get emotional over food, but the beauty of this restaurant brought tears of joy to my eyes. I would highly recommend attending this restaurant whether you are vegetarian or not. It was loved by both my husband (non-vegetarian) and myself (vegetarian).

This was a recommendation as I like a ‘foodie’ experience.
The menu is vegetarian and although I’m not vegetarian, I was not disappointed with any of the dishes.
Each serving arrived and looked delicious and tasted even better.
We were sat between a French table and an American couple. The descriptions of the food were better (more flowerery) in French. The staff were lovely and I observed that all of them seem to like each other and were constantly smiling.
TIP: I went in the evening but if you go at lunchtime it’s much cheaper.
The experience was lovely.

Update again: June 2024 and this was the best round yet! The riz croustillant with carrots is one of the best dishes that I’ve ever had. Jeanne Suscillon guided us through wonderful wines. The champagne by Elise Dechannes was a show stopper and the Vieux Telegraph Marc was a lovely way to end the meal. Jeanne made our experience particularly special!

Update: We went again last night and just as wonderful as we remembered! All of the dishes were great but we particularly enjoyed the mushrooms and asparagus. The sommelier also recommended the perfect bottle of champagne to pair with the meal. Can’t wait to go back!
