Pho Huydat Vietnamese Noodle House

I was in town for a tournament, and we went to this cute family owned restaurant.

The service was great, they were very nice and was very attentive. I was very hungry after my tournament and ordered a Large Beef Satay Pho. I didn't finish as the portions were huge. But I really enjoyed how good the beef was. I shared some chicken wing, and it was also very delicious. Also over ordered but it was worth it. Then finished my meal with an iced coffee.

I also tried some of the Bun Bo Hue soup from my sister, and it was nothing like home. That soup has me thinking about it.

If I come back in town, I'm definitely swinging by!

Do you ever drive by a place dozens of times and say we should go there one day? This is the place you should say yes. Your new favorite local Vietnamese restaurant. The portions are more than fair and the food is amazing. Easily the best vermicelli bowls I’ve ever had and the egg rolls are also the best I’ve ever had. I will venture something new on the menu next time. The restaurant is clean, open, uncluttered. It was fairly quiet both times (early I guess) and was doing a very busy takeout business.

I'm grateful for the recommendation that brought me to your restaurant, and now I'm returning for the third time with my friends. We absolutely adore every appetizer with peanut sauce! It's a new taste experience for me, and we truly enjoy it. The PHO soups are delightful, and the flavors unfold gradually, creating a wonderful dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend your restaurant and extend a big thank you to the entire team!

Definitely recommend the deep-fried wontons for appetizers. Love Vermicelli, so that's always a good option. Their soup would be good during the colder seasons for sure.

I am giving it a three star, which means OK.
I will have to go back again and re-rate it.
I simply wasn’t satisfied with what a good Vietnamese sate soup suppose to taste.
Maybe I was there at a busy time?
Nothing against the staff, hard working and doing their best.

Great casual Pho. Have been a few times in person and also ordered take out. The special seafood sate is great as is the traditional rare beef pho. Serving sizes are large (got the large Pho once and was too much but so good).

We loved our experience at Pho Huydat! The food and service were amazing. We definitely recommend going there if you are visiting Calgary 😊 For the socially anxious people (like me), I added some pictures of the menu. I like that they have vegetarian options as well! ❤️
