Great for walking your dog
We just discovered this place while looking at a map, and considering a walk in Akron. It was beautiful here! It only covers a small area, but it does involve a small escarpment, as "advertised."

The escarpment itself isn't to terribly large but you should still be careful by the edge, take the first left on the main trail for the best experience.
I also found some uncommon mushrooms deeper in the trail.

A great trail to take dogs for a walk. Very scenic and it's never crowded. Perfect place to go if you have a dog that is temperamental around other dogs or people..
Beautiful views and an easy trail for a start of the hiking season. Simple family day out. Love it!
Nice, peaceful walk. Saw 2 other vehicles parked but no people. Google the site and download the pdf map from NYS. Also accessible from Village of Akron.
Great place for a peaceful short hike. Who knew a trail between an airport and a school would be so quiet and serene.
