Experience Hamburg Tours was a fantastic experience! The tour was fun, engaging, and filled with fascinating anecdotes that made the two hours fly by. Our guide had an impressive knowledge of the city’s history, though I’d personally suggest focusing a bit more on the fascinating Hanseatic League period, which truly shaped Hamburg. The tour's reflections on Germany’s past in 1940' are important, but they could be a bit lighter to keep the overall experience balanced. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to dive into Hamburg’s vibrant life!

If you are lucky enough to get Evan as your walking guide in Hamburg you will fall in love with whole city !
Not only was he smart, extremely knowledgeable sharing so much history of Germany and Hamburg, he was thoughtful, friendly and fun!! We so enjoyed his private tour with a group of 6 adults, that we booked another tour with him the next day and ended up inviting him to join us for a beer and casual dinner.
He’s the best tour guide hands down , can’t recommend him enough !

It was really delightful to meet Evan Ladd and to tour historic Hamburg with him. It was fascinating to discover the city with his very knowledgeable guidance. He was extremely generous with his time – the tour was scheduled for two hours and lasted three. He was also generous in sharing his wide understanding of hundreds of years and the different periods in the development of the city. Evan was very attentive to all queries and every question we had even if it was on a topic that wasn’t part of the tour was answered extensively and interestingly.

Evan has such a variety of tours to offer that I’ll definitely explore a different one during my next visit to Hamburg.

The tour of Hamburg with Evan was outstanding. I was hosting some colleagues and we only had a limited amount of time in the city. Evan’s knowledge of the city and culture is vast. He was also very flexible. At the end of the tour he recommended a great restaurant. If you are going to be in Hamburg and you want a private tour, this is the one to choose.

My son and I joined Evan for his World War 2 in Hamburg tour, and all I can say is WOW! It was our first day in Hamburg, so Evan met us at our hotel and the tour started from there (and helped orient us for the remainder of our stay). Evan included some basic local information as well as a plethora of WWII information. We had a delightful time! I highly recommend Evan's services! He is well informed and made the tour interesting while relaying pertinent facts.
