Small and classy distillery. Always enjoy visiting when coming to Scotland. Denise was a fantastic tour guide. Having only worked 6 months and having the knowledge down to the information about the counter for the barley mill was astounding. Highly recommend!

The distillery is tucked away in a beautiful, somewhat wild setting near Ballindalloch in the Speyside region. We booked a tour, which was very informative and personal and gave us good, detailed insights into the work and production of Cragganmore. Highly recommended.

The subsequent tasting was also very exciting. The whiskies are delicately balanced and complex. The balance of fruity, malty and the honey notes that are typical of Cragganmore is very appealing. According to Carrie, our guide, it is the unusual distillation process with the wide pot stills and the worm tubs that give the whisky its depth and its delicate and nuanced aromas.

Thank you very much for the tour and the tasting! We would love to come back.

This place could be so much better if they had some interested & knowledgeable staff!
5/6 ppl waiting to be served & actually buy things and 1 girl appearing to serve during a coach trip!
I would’ve bought more & stayed longer if there had been any Scottish hospitality!

Cragganmore was already one of my favorite whiskies. After my spouse and I took a private tour with Alison, it has a secure place in my top two. We learned about distilling, the history of Cragganmore, and a wee bit about Glenfarclas and Cardhu. I appreciate Cragganmore's connection to the land and to people. The employees speak about each other as family and quite collegially about other distillers. If this distillery is not on your Speyside itinerary, then you're missing the most beautiful parts of the craftsmanship of scotch (but you should still try to find a bottle or dram near you).

Our first Whisky distillery tour in Speyside. We were staying at the Cragganmore House and decide to swing by in the morning to check out this distillery. We were lucky to be able to join a tour that was starting without pre booking. A small distillery but managed by people with strong passion in whisky making. Our tour guide reached out to the master distiller for depth into some of the processes which was cool. Our guide was however, a bit rushed as there were people on the tour who needed to leave to other distilleries. A shame since a less harried tour would provide an even greater and more intimate experience which I think is key for a small distillery. But overall a good tour.

Intimate distillery tour when first visited Cragganmore, this time opted for a guided tasting of Cragganmore's core and extended range. Interactive and did not feel rushed in any way. Cozy environment. The only downside would be having a narrow range of distillery specific bottle options, but that's a reccuring Diageo's issues across the country.

We loved our time at Cragganmore! Our tour guide Rhiann (I hope I spelled it correctly!) was so nice, fun, and friendly! Super informative, really great to see the whole process up close, and the whiskey tasting was phenomenal.
