Fab place, off the beaten track in a woodland area, in a clay pit area.

Beautiful garden in the valley, you have to keep driving up a long lane to find it, it’s a hidden gem. Very interesting history in the area which the owners were happy to tell us about. The cream teas were exceptional value for money and absolutely delicious. The gluten free scone was the best I’ve ever tried. Will go back again in spring for another look and another cream tea!

Took my Dad, a keen gardener for a belated Father's day treat. Lovely place to wander around and we both enjoyed all of the plants. A windy path through the woods from the carpark which was also pleasant.

What can I say but 'WOW'.
An amazing hidden gem up the Gover Valley from St. Austell. The owners, Heather & Keith, have worked hard to transform this industrial site into a green and lush environment which welcomes visitors into a beautiful & natural landscape. The planting is soft and blends easily into the surrounding woodland with a beautiful lawn area to relax on. Beautifully planned with separate 'rooms' divided by natural borders, this is a must visit garden for those looking for natural beauty, tranquility and an immersion experience in nature. The local wild birds are in abundance and happily feed on the bird feeders with visitors close by. A surprise around every corner shows the dedication of Heather & Keith along with the pride they have in their creation. You must visit to experience their amazing hospitality & knowledge, Heather with the garden and baking, Keith with the abundant local history and industrial past. After our 1st visit we felt like part of the family and enjoyed our cuppa on the patio with their feline friends and a chat with Heather and Keith.
In conclusion this is an amazing garden which blends with the natural landscape looked after by a lovely, friendly, dedicated couple. A bit hard to find (just follow the track straight up the Gover Valley from the Gover Viaduct) but well worth it when you arrive.
All being well we will hopefully return next year on our annual Cornish holiday to check in on this stunning garden and their enthusiastic owners.

Fantastic little garden with plenty to do and see as well as a bit of a wood walk along the river. Heather and Keith the owners were there and a hive of information about the garden on how it all began to where they were with the garden today and what was happening in the future. Did not try the cream tea but have heard it is fantastic. Would recommend and will be back.

Wow ! This is such a great place to visit. On the site of an old China Clay works,Keith and Heather have created a beautiful 2 acre garden surrounding the old China Clay Captain's home. Additional there is an extensive woodland area, unspoilt with Mother Nature and her wildlife offspring very much in mind.
And,if it can't get any better, try the Coffee/Tea and Cakes served up on either one of the sun patios or at one of the several spots in the garden itself.
It's full of history and some of the remains of the China Clay works are still to be found.
Go there,it's off the beaten track and all the better for that .
