West Neck Creek Natural Area

This is a great quiet place to take a walk or a hike back in the woods. Very nice and peaceful.

This park used to be great. But with the addition of the new trail section, it's absolutely amazing 🤩

What a gorgeous trail! It’s short and makes for an easy nature walk, or you can go longer with several laps. Plenty of shade, quiet, easy to immerse yourself in and listen to the nature around you.

Feels hidden away but its not. Love all the colonial buildings in the surrounding areas. Always see wildlife. Nice shady trails that are nice and flat. Great little hike for our dogs even when its a warm day.

Great short hike. A little deep woods feel at times but close enough to civilization to take the little kids…if they tire out quick . Lots of easy geocache finds for the kids as well. We spent about an hour and a half the finished off with a stop at the coffee house .

This is a great little spot to get about an hour in of walking through nature. There is a decent mix of of paved and unpaved trails, cute little bridges over creeks, and ability to hear wildlife. The trails aren't really marked super great once you get into the unpaved section, but if you just keep romping around you'll get back as its a small enough area to not really get lost in. We love going here with the kids and doing quick walks when we are out and about and want a few moments of nature.

Easy, short walking trail, both paved and on dirt. Plenty of shade from the trees. On today’s hike, some of the path needed to be trimmed but we were able to see the path.
After our walk, we stopped at the coffee shop located a few yards from the parking lot.
