Well kept woodland with walking trails and bike trails, it's a great location for a hot summers day to go swimming.

There are fishing spots further up the river that require fishing a permit but they display QR code you can scan to take you to a website where you can purchase them.

Most of the land on the other side of the river is private property further north you go

This is my go to walk. Absolutely perfect and my favourite place to be in all of Plymouth. I've been coming here for years and find new areas to walk all the time. I feel the woods keeps giving back and is great for any type of walker. You could go for a 20 minutes walk or a 3 hour walk, it's absolutely massive. Only thing that lets it down is bad dog owners, the amount of dog muck and stupid dogs getting in your space does let it down but you can avoid the main dog walking areas.

A great place, a little difficult after the rain but always fun getting muddy. Can go as far as you'd like.

Always 5 stars because its such a beautiful scenic route. Lots of wildlife. Plym Valley is a wonderful place for taking a dip. Enjoy it whilst the weather is hot, enjoy a Bbq and a crate of beer. Just have a bit of respect and take your rubbish home with you.
