Excellent for the dog, large park and wooded areas
Wonderful time walking through the trees and bushes nice and quiet
A great way to pass a couple of hours riding on the miniature trains. Nice cup of tea and a snack available too. Kids loved it too.
The steam railway is the highlight, not that many people in the area know there is a 7 1/4 inch gauge railway on thier doorstep. Open on the first and third Sundays each month, April to October inclusive. The railway will once again be open as usual a week today on the Sunday, the first Sunday of July.
Great place to visit on the moors step and poneys all around great place for life to play and there are ice cream carts
Love this place with it's quiet woods minature railway and ease of access. The only downsides are occasional rubbish left by local children and when im walking my dog i find there are a small minority of selfish dog owners who don't clean up after their dogs!!! Dirty lazy scrotes!!! :-(
Beautiful place to visit. Pleasant easy walking. Suitable for most ages and abilities.
