Lovely January outdoor day weather, lots of dogs walking, lots of disc golfers. Water rushing along.

Great course design; good mix of big open fields and short tight wooded holes. There are a lot of trash cans and I think that helped keep the course so clean (it was impressively clean and well kept for a free course).

I highly recommended checking this course out.

Impressed!
We had a reserved area. Very clean with trash cans. Super excellent grills. Many other hikers in the area.
Our group had an enjoyable day.

Overall the course is in good condition. Some of the grass was a little long which makes things difficult if you venture off the fairway. Keep em long and straight.

Horribly overgrown grass where you’ll lose your disc easily. Spent 15 minutes looking for my disc. No easy paths to follow, annoying to walk through the grass looking for your disc, and just not worth the 25 minute drive. I could drive an extra 5 minutes and go the other way to Sturbridge to have a nice clean golf course. Yes, this place is free, but I’d rather pay the $5 and go somewhere that’s kept up.

Many places to find solitude even if the parking lots are filled. Much to discover, like a small white water river, which unfortunately looks polluted.

Very beautiful natural site within a rural forest preserve. Maintained by the federal government with FREE access. Has permanent (no porta potties real bathrooms) bathroom facilities, picnic tables, and charcoal grills. Surrounding area has a bunch of trails. One of the best disc golf courses I’ve ever been to. It’s FREE! 18 holes with professional baskets at each hole. Prime site for birding, especially during migrations. Regularly see large quantities of wildlife.

Usually maintained in excellent condition. My only issue with the course is that regular mowing of the course is sometimes neglected and you loose discs in the grass. This only effects half the course though.
