There is a great variety of xeriscaping plants but the grounds have not been maintained. Additionally, the hours are not very conducive for general visitors, instead they seem to be geared more towards retirees. Currently the hours are 9am to noon, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Hopefully the beds are better maintained and the hours expanded.

I always love coming here such an amazing place

Guess it was closed, but I was allowed in. Went to leave and gates were locked. Had to climb and squeeze through a barbed fence to leave.
Nice specimens tho. Some could prolly use some shade and a tad more water tho.

Gardens were not open on time posted. Gardens are in a scrambles, not maintained in the least. Very sad

I love this place ,it's awesome

It is the perfect little place to take the kids. They have some many desert plants and there is a place that you can sit and contemplate the garden. Perfect place to relax and have a nice coffee with your best friend. The rocks that they have around the garden are so beautiful! Great place to visit!

Right across from Discovery Center. It’s free. A title small but if cactus are your thing, it’s worth checking in out. Parking is free as well and just a few steps away. We take a walk here once we are done visiting the Discovery Center. They have a a large park area for the kiddos to run around. Please do keep in mind it’s small, but if you’re in a tight budget, or just need to get away for some peace and quiet, you should visit here. If the parking lot is full, there is plenty of parking on the street. Right at the front. Super close to the Fresno Airport as well.
