Been going here for many years and the food is always fantastic. I wholeheartedly recommended to anyone who lives Chinese food at a very reasonable price.

Only for take out. The special fried rice does not seem fried but the side dish( stir fried vege & chicken ) is good. The big prawn fried noodle taste is good with lots of fresh prawns. Recommend the Peking ribs which is covered by sweet source. The wanton soup is just normal. It is a better Chinese food in Norwich although it’s a bit far from city centre. It’s very popular in the neighborhood though.

Fab food this evening, either was very hungry after a 10mile bike ride today, or it was one of the best yet! (Never had a bad one) We had chicken curry & sfr, sweet & sour chicken balls and chicken chow Maine. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 LOVELY

China Star restaurant serves authentic Chinese cuisine with generous portions at reasonable prices. Super friendly staff!

Had a meal from here last night, the food was lovely, well cooked and nice and hot. I had a chicken chow mein, rice, lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken balls, all of which were really tasty. I would definitely buy from this Chinese takeaway again.

I have lived in the area for a few years and there are three Chinese takeaways next to each other on Sprowston Road! The only one I hadn't used until recently was China Star, which I regret! Because the food here is superb. It's hot, fresh and well cooked and served by friendly staff. My only issue is that the place is so popular there's often a long wait, and the card machine they use is a nightmare! So take cash if you can. But mid week is better. I highly recommend this place for the food though.
