Kermit La Union

Found a new go-to restaurant in La Union! I’ll definitely be coming back for the pan-seared tuna with fresh salad and couscous, as well as the Wagyu beef topped with chimichurri sauce. Don’t miss to order their pizzas as well — it’s the perfect post-surf treat!

If you’re considering dining here, you might want to think twice. While the restaurant’s aesthetics are undeniably charming, the food fell short of expectations. The Kermit Pizza was overly salty and greasy, while the Shrimp Scampi lacked flavor and depth. Staffs were very friendly though.

Food here is bland, just like the service and ambiance. Had to return the truffle pasta I ordered, there's not a hint of taste at all, the server didnt even apologize and took the plate and walked out, she returned with exact same bland and dry pasta no sorry no nothing just put the plate on the table and left.. im so dissapointed. Pizza is so small and thin, dough is half cooked. The chef must taste the food he serves. This branch can never be same level with the main branch in Siargao, will never come back. Please save your money and time to look for better resto.

Place was quaint and fresh air from the sea can be felt. The server was very nice and prompt when we ask for anything. The food was great! The Kermit Pizza wasn’t available at the time but overall good food.

We just stayed for drinks so my opinion is quite limited.

The drinks were good, it is also nice to have promos from time to time. The food serving size however was relatively small for me.

The place has a nice atmosphere (or maybe because there were very few present at that time).

For now, SULIT.

We Ordered: Greek salad, Mixed salad, Pizza the Deck, Kermit Pizza, Linguine alla Tartufata and Linguine Seafood.

I really liked the Greek salad. It's my first time to taste Greek salad and I was not disappointed. Pizza the Deck is too salty for my taste but still a good pizza. Kermit Pizza is interesting because the ham slices are really reallyyy thin. And it would be better if the ham is sliced evenly in the pizza slices. But as for taste, it is delicious! Both pastas are actually just fine for me. I would still be open to try other dishes from the menu when I come back.

Also, I was not expecting a good seat when we get there. But the place was like a small compound with different food stalls with adequate seating. And surprisingly it was really relaxing there.

Kermit is on the same place as El Union, Sabong, Makai and Coco Mama

Their pizza is great, and the four-cheese gnocchi is delicious. I love the vibe of the place as well as the decor. When we went there, the restaurant was not full because lunchtime was over. The staff is also friendly; they even gave water to my friend's dog who traveled with us. Souvenirs are also available to their resto upstair. Definitely a restaurant to come back to.
