Riverwood Studio

Riverwood Studios is a wonderful place for kids and adults! Jill is very welcoming and personable and she always come up with new, fresh and unique projects.
The facilities are inviting and clean and I like how the kids always get a chance to create outdoors.
My daughter's favorite is the wonderful drama plays Jill organizes during the winter months which include music, puppet making, backdrop design, and more. She looks forward to this camp every year. And, I have really enjoyed her adult watercolor series- I have learned some good skills.

Our son just completed his first summer camp (Beginning Watercolor) at Riverwood studio, and had a great experience. He was totally new to watercolor, but Jill walked them through a good variety of projects step by step, and he was able to create many very beautiful projects, and is eager to keep using new techniques he learned at home. Highly recommend!

My daughter started taking classes at Riverwood Studio a few years ago, and she continues to beg me to sign her up for as many classes/ art clubs/ drama club/ summer camps as I will allow her to take. She has learned so many new skills and always comes home with amazing projects and fun experiences to share. My husband and I marvel at her work as we reflect on our sad art class offerings as children. I cannot recommend this studio enough!

Jill's Riverwood Studio is amazing. She is our neighbor and our daughter truly loves art!!! She has taken many classes at her studio and via zoom. All platforms work perfectly. We are running out of wall space with all of the beautiful art she has created with Jill! Highly recommend her class and the cake decorating classes!! Thank you Jill and Grace.

Before my kids took art classes from Jill, I didn't realize just how much art could be taught/ learned. I think I believed kids were either artistic, or not. My kids loved art, so we signed up. My kids look forward to art every week, it is a highlight of their week! Now that they have been taking classes, I realize how wrong I was about all of the learning possibilities in art. They have learned so much, and what a benefit to learn it when they are young. They will carry these experiences with them forever! Everything my kids have done with Jill at Riverwood studio has been fantastic! We've done summer camps, homeschool art classes, and a birthday party. Couldn't recommend more highly! Jill is a fantastic teacher, who really gets what engages kids.

I have 4 children, two of which are really interested in art. Since I wasn't sure how to grow those skills best at home, we signed them up for art classes at Riverwood Studio. Jill Pearson is an amazing teacher and my children absolutely love art classes with her! They have learned so many art skills, and I'm amazed at the art they bring home! Jill is great at teaching many techniques with a variety of mediums. We will definitely be doing summer camps and classes with her again!

Riverwood Studio is a fantastic resource for Rochester! We’ve participated in summer art camp, watercoloring classes and had a custom themed birthday party for my daughter (very reasonably priced and each child brought home a beautiful art project). Jill is a wonderful teacher to children and adults no matter your skill level. I highly recommend her studio!
