I've been a student of Muscat International School for over a decade and this school gave me an opportunity to experience a variety of features that enhance the school's overall ambiance and quality of education.
The school's facilities are outstanding, giving pupils access to different amenities and resources. Ranging from laboratories, sports hall, as well as a library where students are able to catch up to their school assignments or studies.
The staff, as well as students are supportive, we all collaborate together when it comes to examinations or even school events.
Overall, it is one of the top best schools in Muscat.

Over the past few years, the school has undergone a significant transformation. Its building is located in one of Qurum's most desirable areas. It boasts a specially designed, cutting-edge campus with well-equipped classrooms, exceptional faculty, heartfelt administration, and intelligent pupils. The school's system is getting better every day. Students here achive extra ordinary marks here as one student had gotten the highst mathematics A level exam marks in the world.
For the intellectual and social growth of your children, this is the greatest option to select.

One of the worst schools in oman academically, psychological,physically and mentally...
I don't recommend this school to anyone..walk in and try to pay close attention to the fascilitation and resources , no one can rate this school but we had to , to write our reviews but it deserves a sub-zero review
Regarding staff I'm speechless 99% of staff are poorly experienced 1% where devoted..
Going through this experience was devastating but finally we are out hope we can rehabilitate our kids and share our horrible experience in this nightmare.
Ps: don't let the fancy reception deceive you 😉

Promotes itself as an inclusive institution , it is far from it! It was a daily nightmare!
Kids with special needs are segregated , charged much higher fees and requested to have a shadow teacher despite segregation and a dedicated SEND department available.

I left MIS after two years in 2020 due to having to move back to my home country. Thus, this review could be heavily outdated and uninformed.
A somewhat large share (about 1/3) the teachers at the time were very loud and assertive, as an attempt to keep the class quiet. They rarely ever succeeded, and this slowed down the progression of the syllabus significantly. The rest of the teachers were patient, kind and eager to teach, finishing their respective syllabuses on time and engaging students. One problem academically is that, at the time, the maths being taught is way behind the expected syllabus for that grade, and so this slowed me down when I moved to my new school. They offered a good range of after-school/co-curricular activities to further engage students in learning.
The school regularly holds interesting events which makes it feel more lively. The toilets, although in good condition structurally, smell awful half the time and are dirty. Another huge issue is the traffic that comes in the afternoon when parents come to pickup their children. Furthermore, the lack of shade for students in the place where students wait meant that they usually had to stand in the heat for a long time before being picked up, an issue which is critical during the summer where temperatures at MIS can reach 50+°C. The lockers have a decent amount of space although the fee is slightly questionable.

Muscat International School stands out as a school that values each individual and supports children to become all that they can be which also challenge the gifted and talented pupils as well as nurture the low ability one's as an exclusive school.
MIS is one of the top ranking school in the city. The school has improved a lot in the last five years. Its building is situated at a very nice location of Qurum. It has a custom built state of the art campus with equipped classrooms, outstanding faculty, sincere management and bright students. The school has been exhibiting remarkable results specially in recent years. The system of the school is improving day by day. This is the best option to choose for your kids’ academic and social development.
