Lovely forest Park, plenty of parking spaces we paid £3.00 as we was here over 2 hours has toilets here a cafe can get hot and cold food and ice cream too 🍦 lots of different routes to walk on or take your bike 🚲 we went in the maze that was fun trying to find the way out. Seen some beautiful wooden sculptures we had a picnic by the pond with all the lily pads really a nice well kept place. We passed many people with dogs is a dog friendly place. Also places to play football with small goals already built up
Really enjoyed out time here was walking for hours 😂
We will be back again soon definitely

This is a lovely park. Good central car park with fairly accessible paths for wheelchair or limited access. Nice cafe that serves hot and cold food and drink.

Took my doggie for a walk here. Very wide paths, plenty of fun spaces for kiddos to play in, huge number of paths too. Pretty flowers and trees on display. Gorgeous and not too crowded.

This is one of my favourite local places to visit. I visit at least once a week for a walk around the park.

There are plenty of benches to stop and rest or to just soak up nature.

They have a fab cafe and gelato shack. Decent toilet facilities. Awesome children's play area just outside the cafe and even a hard football pitch.

Easily found with the postcode IP29 5BD
There's a cafe with some outside and a little inside seating .
It sells basic food with a some hot.
The cafe gets very busy.
Toilets available.
Benches available.

There are coloured walkways around the park to follow.
A map at the beginning shows the routes.
Would suggest you take a picture of this map, as we found that once you get into the forest alot of the signs weren't there and it was a little confusing as there are many path options.
Small paths, suitable for buggies with larger wheels.
Slightly overgrown in some areas.
Suitable for both dogs and children, but be aware in some areas of the walk you're near the road.
Lots of parking available but it does cost.
You will need cash, or the Pay to Park app.
Up to 2 hours £2
Over 2 hours £3.
Current prices June 2024.
Worth a visit.

A lovely park with great walks. A wide variety of different tree species which creates a spread of many colours. Different paths and routes marked out for different areas. lots of wildlife and places to explore. A great place to visit for all the family including the dog. There is a small cafe by the carpark and some picnic benches if you want to take your own picnic.

Visited twice in August. Fantastic place for everyone. Great wooded areas and trails for the dog walkers, large open spaces and a maze for the kids, cafe and car park (Carpark fee applies, pay by Ringo App).
