This is a wonderful place to visit for dog walkers or families. There is a great playground for children and room for picnics and lots of paths to walk along.
Standard country park with a couple of walks of varying length through woodland and along the river Ouse. Notice boards and maps available at the entrances but it would be useful to know which trail you are following, maybe a coloured disc or similar along the trail?. Good for dog walking and getting little people out for some exercise.

Nice tracks to walk-on. Shame the lakes have now been shut off as private owned. The feild walk alongside the river is best.

Park in the car park or if it’s full then go to Sainsbury’s. Make sure the shop is open otherwise you can get a fine to park there.

This is also the venue for the junior parkrun on Sunday mornings, 2 km run for kids.

Lovely clean park, with a decent play area for children to run about and burn excess energy off! Did think it would be a bit larger, but no complaints.

Had a lovely time this morning at the park, my parents and I took my son out, he's two and a half, so some of it wasn't appropriate but the parts that he could use were amazing, it's well kept open area, disabled and changing facilities are nearby as well. Perfect for a family day or just a few hours of fun!
