This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Disgusting rooms which were not cleaned. The AC and heat did not work. Overpriced for such horrible conditions and a waste of money and time. When you call the front desk for service, no one answers the phone. I do not recommend this hotel to the general public. The actual hotel and rooms are nothing like the website, everything is old, shabby and unclean. It's all a sham to get people to book but once you get there it is so disgusting. This hotel needs to be shut down permanently.

Hotel is being used as a migrant center. Place is a complete dump! Only go here if you want to get lice

The hotel is an amazing location 1 block from the Empire State. Our view from our room was of the Empire State Building. The staff were friendly, helpful and always on hand to help us.
Checking in was very straight forward. The lobby was clean and spacious. The room was dated but very clean, spacious and had all the amenities we required.
The air con was in working order and very cool after a hot day out exploring.
Every morning a lovely cleaning lady arrived to clean the room and replenish toiletries and towels.
Overall I will definitely stay in this hotel again and will recommend to all family and friend!
Thanks Nyma Hotel for a wonderful stay!

This hotel was okay. Very disappointed with the standard of rooms. Shabby and in need of a make over. 2 adults staying in our room and we had one towel for a shower and also a few hand towels. Had to line up at reception each morning asking for more towels. How is each person meant to take a shower? Do they except guests to share towels. Also had an issue later with a deduction on my card and no one will reply to emails or any social media messages

The room itself was very ugly and dull. The hot water didn’t work the first day?? The gal at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. The gentleman was a jerk. He was very unaccommodating. There’s a bar on the roof, quite pricey for average things. The food on the block made it okay. But never again would I pay $540 for 2 nights at a place like this. I’ve stayed in better motels.

Hotel lobby, hallways and rooms were very clean. Our room had a bit of a smell not sure if it was the carpet or not but the A/C heating unit worked really well to heat the room up fast. TV channel was blah but we weren't there for that. Bathtub had paint or whatever sealant they had peeling off near the drain. Didn't like the look or feel of the toilet but who cares. They had handsoap, lotion and body soap in dispenser for us. Also a blow dryer. Unfortunately our king bed room didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. Never been in a hotel that didn't have a phone in it or outlets to charge your device by the bed. Overall i liked the convenience of midtown and restaurants and would recommend if you need something for like 1-2days .

Fantastic location and price is great for the spot. My room was clean and bed was comfortable.

However it is quite dated and some of the furniture was past its life. Room didn't have a fridge or a coffee machine, and towels were very much near the end of their life. There's also a rooftop bar open to the public and only two lifts that are shared so it can take a while to come and go in the evening in the relatively slow lifts.
