Pleasant, relatively flat out and back walk. Nice trails, lakes, and some ruins (look up Fries Mill Ruins) if you leave the preserve and cross over the railroad tracks.

It was very nice out there. The views of the river was very beautiful. However the trail blazes were few and far between which made the trail not well marked.

Beautiful white sand and turquoise waters. Does anyone know if you're allowed to canoe in the ponds or rivers? I know swimming, fishing and camping is prohibited.

Very nice preserve. Typical pine barrons. Less under growth than other places which is surprising. Lots of unmarked trails all over the place. Easy to get lost. Bring a gps. When you get to the lake, it is worth it. The views are spectacular. Only parking is on Barth road. No bathrooms, so you are on your own. We hiked 9 miles and only hit part of it. We stays west of the railroad tracks. A whole other area past them.
