A nice place to view the tappan zee bridge at sunset. Plenty of parking nearby. You may have to pay before 2:00. There is a walk along the Hudson River.it is a good place just to enjoy the views of the river.

This is the East end of Duke island Park. There is parking here for about 10 cars. The paved trail starts here. No restroom at this spot. Easy access to the river. The road is one way, so no access off old York road. Have to go around the block. The history at the monument is amazing. He was a real hero.

Very nice preserve. Typical pine barrons. Less under growth than other places which is surprising. Lots of unmarked trails all over the place. Easy to get lost. Bring a gps. When you get to the lake, it is worth it. The views are spectacular. Only parking is on Barth road. No bathrooms, so you are on your own. We hiked 9 miles and only hit part of it. We stays west of the railroad tracks. A whole other area past them.
